alea iacta esto

Bulgakov at the Barbican

A man travels from Moscow to Yalta at the speed of light. A writer burns his novel. A woman goes to hell and back to save her lover. All the while, Pontius Pilate argues with Jesus about the nature of human worth.
An adaptation of Mikhail Bulgakov’s The Master & Margarita – one of my favourite books is coming to the Barbican! I so want to see this. How are they going to pull it off?

That said, I did like book The White Guard better – gut wrenching suspense.
