The Nobel Prize for Peace and the Arab-Isreali Conflict

“..Arabs, who hated the Jews with the usual hatred of neighbours”
The Histories, Tacitus, writing of events in A.D. 70.
Really puts things in perspective. The Arab-Jew animosity did not start in 1948 with the founding of the state of Israel. These two semitic peoples ostensibly from the same founding father, Abraham, seem to have been fighting one another from the beginning. After almost 3000 years of trying to annihilate each other if the rest of the world ever get them to live peaceably next to each other then we all, and they, deserve the Nobel Prize for Peace.
